Dream Circus dives into the fairytale world of Pomenia

The license agreement supports the common goal of conquering the international market.

Dream Circus Oy, which manufactures clothes in Varkaus, has dived into the fairytale world of Pomenia created by fairy tale artist Petronella Grahn .

In addition to its own production, Dream Circus now also produces clothes and fabrics under the Pomenia license. The first Pomenia clothing collection went on sale in the Dream Circus online store on October 29, 2021. Pomenia's fairy-tale characters, among other things, the dragon Sisu, the goblin cubs Teo and Tiitu Takkutukka, and fairies are in the patterns of children's clothes.

"Our children's clothing offering will increase significantly with the Pomenia collection. In the future, we will make at least two Pomenia collections designed for Dream Circus models per year. There are also a few mixed-use products, the same models in the artwork of the Pomenia world for children and adults," says Dream Circus CEO Petra Ryymin .

"Fairytale world and circus fit perfectly together. We both want to create good around us. We are also united by the desire to grow and to enter the international market together, especially the US market. Cooperation gives growth goals a boost", believes Ryymin.

The internationalization of Pomenia will be accelerated by the soon-to-be-released animation set in the fairytale world created by Grahn. Its main producer is e.g. Bafta-awarded British producer Dave Mousley and his team. In addition, Pomenia has signed a representation agreement with Bonnier Rights, one of Finland's largest literary agencies. Pomenia trilogy books and educational action cards and board games are also on sale in the Dream Circus online store.

In addition to Europe, the Ehta by Dream Circus brand is registered in the United States and has product protection there.

"Book translation rights and animation increase Pomenia's recognition internationally. We expect it to significantly increase sales of Pomenia clothes and fabrics worldwide. We both benefit from this", Ryymin is happy.
